Since the fall of 1941, local Catholics in and around the Camden area have called St. Mary Catholic Church home. This main body of our Church was purchased and construction began in the Spring of 1942. Brother Bertram Bailey of the Domminican Order, under the supervision of Fr. Francis S. Smith, donated his time and talent alongside many local Catholics to design St. Mary Church in the colonial style. The building was completed in ninety days and the current Church was expanded in 1960 to add more space for seating and parish offices. One of the beautiful elements of our Church can be found on the wall behind the Tabernacle in the sanctuary. This mural was painted in 1972 by Mr. Dallas Pavone as a gift to St. Mary Church and her people. The people of St. Mary join together in asking God to continue to bless this small "little flock" with such blessings, more visitors, and happiness in our Catholic faith.
St. Mary's Ladies Sodality is open to all women from our Church.

Almost every Sunday, minus a few days, generous portions of food are prepared for all those at Sunday Mass who would like a free breakfast. The breakfast is hosted in the basement underneath the "annex" portion of the Church.
Note that during summer months the Breakfast is moved outside to the shelter next to the priest house.
